Before I started working with Deedee, I was getting ready to start back school and enter my third year. I had just rekindled a relationship with my father and was still on my journey to apply to nursing school. The coaching sessions were a gift from God that at the time, I didn’t know I needed. For a long time, I had been looking for someone I could trust and guide me through this crazy life of mine and that’s what I gained from you. The coaching sessions helped me gain confidence, build my self-esteem, gave me a new way of thinking and handling situations as well as gave me a reason to keep going when I felt like giving up. Depression seemed farther out of reach as I became happier and less worried about my future and focused on my present.
- My experience of working with Deedee was empowering and overall beautiful. I couldn’t have imagined that it would have gone so smoothly and that we would have built an instant connection. What I liked most about our coaching relationship is that you made me feel like I could be myself and showed me that even though it seemed like you were helping me I was in actuality doing all the work. You also had similar experiences that I have had and understood me like no one has since my great-grandma died. I felt heard and I felt seen.
- Some benefits I gained from her coaching are resilience, honesty with myself, not caring about what others think, learning to be nicer to myself, learning to put myself first, and communicating my feelings properly. Some achievements I had were building a career plan with you if I didn’t get into nursing school and standing up to my dad and his side of the family.
- I learned through this process that nothing is wrong with asking for or needing help. Nobody knows everything, and there is always room for growth at any age or stage of life. I have also learned not to be closed-minded and not to look at bad experiences as setbacks but as new opportunities.
- I would recommend your coaching to anyone and everyone because you are such a well-rounded individual and a natural at what you do. Without you, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
